The best time to visit Shillong is between October to April when the weather is pleasant and ideal for sightseeing. Monsoon (June–September) makes the region lush and green, but travel may be affected by rain.
Shillong is approximately 100–150 km from Guwahati, and it usually takes 3.5 to 4.5 hours by road, depending on traffic and weather conditions.
No special permit is required for Indian tourists to visit Shillong. However, valid photo ID is necessary. Foreign nationals must register at the nearest Foreigners Registration Office (FRO).
All Packages prices should be adjustable.
