Dirang, Tawang, Bomdila & Guwahati Tour – 6 Days Scenic Himalayan Escape

Day 1: Guwahati to Dirang / Sangti Valley

(Approx. 327 km | 9 hrs)

• Pick-up from Guwahati Airport/Railway Station by our representative and drive towards Dirang.
• On arrival, check in at the hotel. Spend the evening at leisure or explore the local market.
• Overnight stay in Dirang.

Day 2: Dirang to Tawang

(Approx. 140 km | 5 hrs)

• After breakfast, journey to Tawang via the scenic Sela Pass (13,700 ft) and stop at the Jaswant Garh War Memorial.
• Admire views of Tawang Valley and the Tawang Chu River along the route.
• Arrive in Tawang and check in at the hotel. Overnight in Tawang.

Day 3: Tawang – Bumla Pass – Madhuri Lake – Tawang

(Approx. 138 km | 8 hrs)

• Post breakfast, take a day trip to Bumla Pass (permits required; vehicle arranged separately).
• En route, visit Pangateng Tso (PTSO Lake) and the beautiful Sangestar Tso (Madhuri Lake).

Day 4: Tawang to Bomdila

• After breakfast, drive to Bomdila—famous for its cool climate, apple orchards, monasteries, and Himalayan views.
• Explore Bomdila Monastery and local crafts center in the evening.
• Overnight stay in Bomdila.

Day 5: Bomdila to Guwahati

• Check out after breakfast and visit Bomdila View Point before heading back to Guwahati.
• Arrive and check in at your Guwahati hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 6: Kamakhya Temple Visit – Departure

• Early morning visit to the sacred Maa Kamakhya Temple.
