Kaziranga and Pobitora Tour

Day 1: Guwahati

• Pick up from Guwahati Airport/Railway Station.
• Visit Kamakhya Temple: Approximately 20.5 km from the airport, a 40-minute drive. Maa Kamakhya Temple is a significant Hindu temple complex on Nilachal Hill.
• Visit Umananda Temple: Approximately 7.7 km from Kamakhya Temple, a 19-minute drive. Take a ferry to Umananda Island (Peacock Island), the smallest river island on Earth. Umananda Temple is a Shiva temple.
• If time permits, visit Kalashetra to experience Assamese history and culture.
• Enjoy a sunset river cruise on the Brahmaputra River (optional).
• Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Day 2: Guwahati – Kaziranga National Park

• After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
• Drive to Kaziranga National Park: Approximately 203.8 km from Guwahati, a 3 hr 49 min drive. Kaziranga National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its one-horned rhinoceros.
• Check in to your hotel in Kaziranga.
• After lunch, explore the Baguri Range on a Jeep. The jeep safari typically lasts around 1.5 hours.

Day 3: Kaziranga – Elephant & Jeep Safari

• Early morning wake-up call for Elephant Safari (5:00 AM or 6:00 AM).
• After breakfast, visit nearby tribal villages and tea estates.
• Post lunch, another Jeep safari in Kaziranga.

Day 4: Kaziranga – Pobitora

• After early breakfast, enjoy a Jeep Safari in the Central Range of Kaziranga.
• Drive to Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary: Approximately 169 km from Kaziranga, a 3 hr 52 min drive. Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary is known for its high density of one-horned rhinoceroses.
• Check in to your hotel in Pobitora.
• Evening free for leisure.

Day 5: Pobitora – Guwahati

• After early breakfast, enjoy a Jeep Safari in Pobitora. The jeep safari typically lasts around 1-2 hours.
• After early lunch, check out from the hotel.
• Drive back to Guwahati and drop off at the Guwahati Railway Station/Airport for your onward destination (58.4 km, approximately 1 hr 42 min drive).
